Looking for the Ultimate Challenge?
Want to learn a new sporting skill?
Experienced Rower moved into the area?
This year we aim to expand our senior women's squad with clear objectives of quality, competitive rowing, and ultimately a place in a Henley Final.
Do you think you are up to the challenge?
We are an active, committed and growing squad who enjoy success on both a local and national level. The Women's Squad is split into intermediate and senior groups.
Our intermediate section is for those who are newer to the sport, with many of our members progressing from our Learn to Row courses. Intermediate training takes place three times a week and primarily focuses on building fitness and improving technique in both sculling and sweep. We also regularly attend local races and regattas.
Our senior section is aimed at those who are committed to training and racing at a higher level. The senior section trains up to 8 times per week, with double water sessions on Saturday and Sunday mornings. All senior training is centred around the major national races and we regularly send crews to WEHoRR, Henley Women’s Regatta and Senior British Championships. In previous years, senior crews have placed within the top 50 at WEHoRR and reached the final at Henley Women’s Regatta.
Whether you’re looking to improve your rowing or aiming to compete at the highest level, we would love to hear from you.
