The River dee is a fantastic river for rowing, plenty of width and straights for sprinting and a good 10km or more of navigation. If you have time for the scenery, there's none better.

It is possible to row as far as upstream as Farndon, 20km although navigation gets tricky with frequent sharp meanders beyond Pulford. In September the club junior coaches organise the 'Farndon Marathon', a general fundraiser for the whole club with Fours, Quads, Doubles and Singles all paddling for lunch at Farndon before making their way back - with the help of the stream, hopefully.
